About us
Since its creation, France Energies Marines has brought together around thirty public and private entities. Since then, our Institute has continued to open up to new partnerships in order to bring together members representing the sector.
France Energies Marines is a non-profit organisation built around a broad public-private partnership bringing together 27 members. These are key players in offshore wind energy: manufacturers, academic and scientific organisations, local authorities and competitiveness clusters, all committed to a long-term joint programme. Our Institute is governed by decision-making and advisory bodies comprising entities from the public, private and voluntary sectors. This organisation enables us to maintain a high degree of consistency between our strategic direction and the needs of the industry.

Our Institute has three decision-making bodies that form the basis of its public-private governance. These bodies ensure the transparency of France Energies Marines’ operations.

In addition to its decision-making bodies, our Institute has set up two high-value-added advisory committees. These committees strengthen the consistency of our governance at the interface between the public and private sectors.

It was very important for us to be truly involved in the project to give substance to the partnership dimension in which we strongly believe.
We had to argue that we were on a growth trajectory and that we would soon become an institute of reasonable size.
That pioneering period was an exhilarating human adventure that will remain a highlight of my professional career.
The direction we had initially envisaged has changed, but the result is exactly what we had hoped for. We can be proud of that!
