The institute for energy transition dedicated to offshore renewable energies

Océanide joins France Energies Marines

Océanide, a company with 18 employees based in La Seyne-sur-Mer, has just joined France Energies Marines as a member of this institute for energy transition. With 30 years’ experience, Océanide has become a reference in the physical modelling of complex offshore phenomena, as well as prototyping and carrying out large-scale test campaigns.

This expertise makes the SME a high value-added member of the research and innovation programmes pooled within France Energies Marines, particularly where offshore wind energy is concerned. In this way, the Institute is continuing its efforts to unite the stakeholders in the offshore wind industry around a collectively constructed technological roadmap, involving co-investment and risk-sharing.
